On September 21, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in the city. Six civilians were injured.
The strikes and falling debris damaged more than 15 apartment buildings, blowing out more than 600 windows. Several homes were completely destroyed. A building belonging to one of the local universities was also damaged.
In addition, the enemy attack caused large-scale fires: one of the city’s shopping centers was completely destroyed by fire, and several private vehicles also burned.
Rescue units worked throughout the night and extinguished all fires. Municipal services are currently involved in dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
