Kharkiv again targeted by Russian UAVs, Ukraine

During the night of June 11, Russian forces launched 15 kamikaze drones at two districts of Kharkiv – Slobidskyi and Osnovianskyi.

As a result of the attack, three people were killed and another 60 sustained injuries of varying severity, including nine children. Several residents were rescued by emergency workers from burning apartments.

Direct hits were recorded on residential infrastructure, resulting in damage to nine apartment buildings and three private homes.  Additionally, utility and industrial facilities, public and private transport, as well as children’s playgrounds, were damaged. Fires broke out in the affected districts and were promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service.

Municipal and emergency crews are working to address the aftermath of yet another Russian terrorist strike.
