A Russian aerial bomb killed a five-year-old girl and her mother in Sumy, Ukraine

On the evening of 3 July, Russian terrorists struck civilian infrastructure in the center of Sumy with a guided aerial bomb. At the epicenter of the strike were apartment buildings, a shop, and a roadway.

As a result of the attack, four people were killed, including a five-year-old girl and her 34-year-old mother.

Medical assistance was provided to 37 injured people, and residents continue to seek treatment as their conditions worsen. Four children remain under medical supervision in moderate condition: girls aged 13, 16, and 17, and a 16-year-old boy. Several adults are also hospitalized in serious condition, including a 23-year-old woman and two men aged 21 and 26.

The blast wave damaged nearby residential buildings, shattering dozens of windows and balcony frames.

Residents of Sumy are now bringing flowers and children’s toys to the site of the tragedy to honor the victims of yet another Russian terrorist attack against civilians.
