At around 11:20 a.m., Russian aviation launched a massive strike on civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region, using guided aerial bombs.
The Kherson and Muzykivka communities came under attack, with extensive damage reported to residential areas and social infrastructure.
In the Muzykivka community, a direct hit from a guided aerial bomb completely destroyed one of the buildings of a local educational institution. The blast devastated the roof, walls, floors, and classrooms. Private homes, passenger vehicles, and a church were also damaged.
Two women, aged 40 and 78, were injured in the attack on the Muzykivka community.
Within half an hour, Russian terrorists dropped seven guided aerial bombs on Zelenivka in the Kherson community. The strikes damaged the local cultural center and around a dozen residential houses. Fires broke out in several homes but were quickly extinguished by State Emergency Service units.
Four people were injured in the attack on Zelenivka, including two sisters aged 11 and 17. A guided aerial bomb exploded next to their home. The girls are currently hospitalized in moderate condition.
