Throughout 3 July, Russian occupiers launched a series of attacks on the city using attack drones and guided aerial bombs. The strikes came in multiple waves throughout the evening and continued into the night of 4 July.
As a result of the attacks, two people were killed and 39 residents of the region were injured.

A total of 34 apartment buildings and 37 private homes sustained varying degrees of damage in the Shevchenkivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Oleksandrivskyi, Kosmichnyi, and Zavodskyi districts of the city.
More than 200 emergency responders, utility workers, and law enforcement officers, supported by over 60 specialized vehicles, were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attacks.
