On the night of July 12, at around 23:00, Russian terrorists launched a drone attack on the city, targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
One of the drones struck a residential building, causing it to collapse. Two people were killed beneath the rubble, and their bodies were recovered by rescuers during search operations.
Eleven residents sustained injuries of varying severity, including a 15-year-old teenager. The boy and a 41-year-old woman are currently hospitalized in critical condition.
The drone strikes also damaged one of the city’s hospitals, blowing out its windows. In addition, 11 apartment buildings were damaged, one of which sustained significant destruction.
