On the afternoon of September 28, Russian terrorists attacked central Dnipro with a drone strike. The drone hit an office building, causing extensive damage and a fire.
Three people were killed in the attack. Another 19 residents were injured to varying degrees, including an eight-year-old child. Two injured women, aged 31 and 45, were hospitalized in moderate condition.
Emergency services launched a rescue operation at the site of the strike. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service extinguished the fire and used aerial ladders to evacuate 49 people from the upper floors of the damaged building.
Emergency crews are continuing to work at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
