On the night of June 6, Russian forces attacked the capital with ballistic missiles and strike drones. The assault caused widespread destruction in several districts of the city.

In the southern and southeastern parts of the capital, large fires broke out, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. In central areas — civilian sites, warehouses, educational institutions, and vehicles were affected. Damage was also recorded on the city’s left bank, particularly at a gas station and a section of the metro line.

As a result of the enemy attack, three rescuers were killed while responding at the strike sites. Twenty civilians were injured, including one child. Seventeen people were hospitalized, while others received medical assistance on-site.

All emergency services are working in enhanced mode, and efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the shelling are ongoing.
