The Russian occupiers launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. In particular, the building of the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital was destroyed

On July 8, 2024, at about 10 a.m., Russian terrorists launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Over 40 missiles of various types struck several cities, including Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk. The attacks damaged residential buildings, infrastructure, and a children’s hospital. 

In Kyiv, 22 people were killed and 72 injured as a result of the Russian missile attack. 

In particular, an enemy missile destroyed the building of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital and damaged one of the entrances to a residential building. Efforts are underway to clear the rubble.

At the Okhmatdyt hospital, there are 2 fatalities, including a doctor, and 16 people injured, 7 of whom are children.

In the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, 7 people were killed and three injured in a result of the second Russian attack on July 8. There is a partial destruction of a medical center building. 

The liquidation of the aftermath of the missile attack is ongoing.
