The Russian army carried out a series of attacks on civilian infrastructure in the city, injuring ten people.
On the evening of October 5, an enemy Shahed-type drone struck a nine-story residential building in the Kosmichnyi district. The impact caused a fire in an apartment on the fifth floor and on a balcony on the floor above. State Emergency Service rescuers extinguished the fire and evacuated residents from the upper floors who were trapped. In total, 25 apartments were damaged.
Five people sustained injuries in the attack on the residential area. A 63-year-old man with burns and blast injuries was hospitalized in serious condition.
On the morning of October 6, occupiers carried out another strike, attacking one of the bridges over the Dnipro River. Five more people were injured, including women aged 24 and 59, a 36-year-old man, and two Red Cross workers aged 43 and 54 who were on their way to work. All those injured received timely medical assistance.
Traffic across the bridge was temporarily suspended, but the crossing was fully reopened two hours later.
