Russian overnight strike on Chernihiv claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy, Ukraine

During the night of April 19, Russian occupiers launched a massive strike drone attack on residential neighborhoods and the city’s social infrastructure.

As a result of the shelling, a 16-year-old student of a local lyceum was killed. Rescue workers found the teenager’s body beneath the rubble while carrying out search operations. Five other people also sustained injuries of varying severity.

In total, the building of a local lyceum and two preschool institutions were damaged. In the private sector, seven houses were hit, three of them completely destroyed by fire, as well as two vehicles.

Furthermore, strikes were recorded on an administrative building, the territory of an industrial facility, and a medical institution.
