On April 22, around 11:40 a.m., the occupiers dropped two guided aerial bombs on the city — one hit an infrastructure facility, and the other struck a multi-story residential building in a densely populated area of Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the attack, a 69-year-old woman was killed. Another 26 people were injured, including four children aged between 3 and 16. Three of the children were hospitalized in moderate condition.
Medics promptly provided the necessary assistance to all the victims: some were treated on-site, while others were hospitalized.
Emergency rescue operations are currently ongoing. All emergency services, psychologists, representatives of public organizations, and volunteers are working at the scenes of the strikes. Municipal services have already begun restoring the damaged buildings.
