Russian airstrike on Zaporizhzhia claims three lives, including a child, Ukraine

On the evening of July 19, Russian occupiers launched six strikes with guided aerial bombs on the city, targeting residential areas as well as industrial and warehouse facilities.

A five-story apartment building sustained the heaviest damage. During a lengthy search and rescue operation, rescuers recovered the bodies of a woman and an 11-year-old girl from beneath the rubble. In total, the attack claimed the lives of three residents.

More than 40 people sustained injuries of varying severity, and all of the victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

The airstrike also damaged 79 apartment buildings across four impact sites.
