On October 10, at around 04:50, Russian terrorists dropped guided aerial bombs on residential areas of the city. As a result of the strikes, 17 residents were killed, including three children. Another 6 people are currently reported missing, and rescuers are searching for them beneath the rubble of buildings.
A further 16 civilians have been confirmed injured, including three children. Two of those injured are in serious condition, and doctors are fighting for their lives. Medical personnel assess most of the injured as being in moderate condition.
In total, the strikes damaged at least 26 residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi and Voznesenivskyi districts of the city, including 23 apartment buildings and three private houses. Nearby non-residential buildings were also damaged.
A large-scale search and rescue operation is ongoing at the strike sites.
