Around 22:00 on September 17, Russian forces carried out air strikes on the village of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia district, Zaporizhzhia region. The attack killed two people and wounded five others.
The enemy hit a private house where a 72-year-old man was staying. He sustained a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to his shin, soft tissue damage to his foot, and a bruised chest with fractured ribs. The man was hospitalized in the surgical department of the hospital. The wounded man does not need surgery. Doctors assess his condition as stable and of moderate severity. The man remains in shock. The four other injured people refused hospitalization.
Dozens of private buildings and power lines were damaged as a result of the enemy strike. Municipal emergency services and charitable organizations are working at the place of tragedy. They are addressing the aftermath of the attack and distributing humanitarian aid. People receive construction materials to repair the damage.
