On the morning of September 6th, Russian missiles struck Pavlohrad, killing one man, and injuring over 60 people, including five children, the youngest being 4 years old. The victims sustained lacerations, cuts, fractures, bruises, and head injuries. Three patients are in serious condition.
As a result of the strikes, several fires broke out across the city. One apartment in a multi-story building caught fire, but firefighters were able to extinguish it and rescue five residents. In total, about forty buildings were damaged.
A kindergarten and 27 stores were also destroyed. One car was utterly destroyed, and two others were damaged. Several businesses were also affected.
The points of Invincibility have been set up in Pavlohrad to help residents. Water delivery has been organized. Emergency services and law enforcement are on site while utility workers are clearing debris. Charitable organizations are also present, distributing building materials to owners of damaged apartments.
