On the morning of August 19, Russian occupiers dropped an explosive from a UAV onto the roof of a route taxi carrying passengers in the Korabelnyi District of the city. The operator of the enemy UAV deliberately targeted the civilian vehicle.
As a result of the attack, four elderly people were killed – a 69-year-old man and three women aged 63, 71, and 89. Five more people – the driver and four female passengers – sustained injuries of varying severity.
Despite the damage to the minibus and the threat of another strike, the driver immediately headed to the nearest medical facility to quickly transport the victims. All of the injured are currently under medical supervision and receiving the necessary medical care.
