Twelve people injured in Russian combined attack on Odesa region, Ukraine

During the night of August 9, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles on the Odesa region.

The residential area in the historic center of Odesa bore the brunt of the attack. Apartment buildings were damaged and partially destroyed, and fires broke out.

As a result of the shelling, twelve residents sustained moderate injuries. All the injured were hospitalized and are receiving the necessary medical treatment at healthcare facilities in the city.

Energy infrastructure facilities were also damaged, causing disruptions to the electricity supply. Currently, three districts of Odesa are completely without power.

At the sites of the strikes, units of the State Emergency Service, emergency medical teams, as well as energy and municipal crews are working.
