Homes, a church, and a social assistance center came under attack by Russian drones in Chernihiv, Ukraine

On the morning of April 26, Russian occupiers attacked the city with strike drones, hitting residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Explosions were recorded at several locations.

In particular, on one of the avenues, a “Shahed” drone strike damaged windows in a multi-story residential building and the premises of a territorial social services center. A local market area and a church also came under enemy fire. In the private sector, the attack caused fires, damaging homes and civilian vehicles.

No information about casualties has been reported. Municipal services have already begun urgent emergency and recovery work to deal with the aftermath of the attack and to assist residents of the damaged buildings.
