On the night of February 24, 2026, the city came under a massive strike carried out with Russian drones and missiles.
The enemy hits targeted residential areas, infrastructure facilities, and non-residential buildings. In one district of Zaporizhzhia, eight apartment buildings and five non-residential premises were damaged, and private vehicles were also destroyed.
In total, at least eight strikes were directed at civilian homes.
As a result of the attack, five residents were injured, including one child.
Emergency and municipal services have been working at the sites since the moment of the shelling. Efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing.
