Kyiv once again endured a difficult night under Russian attacks, Ukraine

On the night of December 27, Russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv, using various types of missiles as well as attack drones. The assault lasted for nearly ten hours and continued with repeated drone launches during the daytime.

Damage to civilian infrastructure and residential areas was recorded in several districts of the capital. More than a dozen multi-storey residential buildings were damaged.

As of now, one man has been confirmed killed and 30 civilians wounded, including two children. Some of the injured have been hospitalized. Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the Dniprovskyi district.

The strikes also caused disruptions to heating and power supplies. Energy workers and municipal services are carrying out emergency repair and restoration works. All emergency services are operating in an intensified mode to address the aftermath of the Russian attack.
