In the evening of March 21, Russians launched several dozen strike drones at the city.
As a result of the enemy attack, a family was killed — a 38-year-old mother Olha, a 41-year-old father Roman and their 17-year-old younger daughter Uliana-Khrystyna. Doctors fought for the mother’s life for almost ten hours, but they were unable to save her.
In addition, 14 residents sustained injuries of varying severity.
Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were damaged in four districts of Zaporizhzhia. The scale of destruction includes: over 20 apartment buildings, more than 20 private houses, 2 of which were completely destroyed, a medical facility, an administrative building and business premises.
In many homes, windows were shattered, balconies and roofs were destroyed, and apartments were damaged. Utility workers, rescuers, volunteers and city services worked through the night, helping people. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the strikes are ongoing.
