The Russian army struck Rivne Region, Ukraine

On the night of August 21 and in the early morning hours, Rivne region came under a massive combined attack involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of falling debris in the city of Rivne, a fire broke out in a private residential building. Thanks to the prompt actions of the State Emergency Service, the fire was extinguished. The blaze destroyed 35 sq.m of the building’s ceiling and damaged an additional 100 sq.m. Household appliances were also destroyed.

The 67-year-old resident of the house was hospitalized. Her condition is stable.

The attack also shattered several windows, including those in an office of one of the municipal services. No one was injured.

Emergency services remain on site to manage the aftermath of the attack. All relevant emergency units are involved in the response.
