On May 23, at about 10:30, the occupiers launched nine missile attacks on the Kholodnohirskyi and Osnovyanskyi districts of Kharkiv. Three more attacks targeted the village of Liubotyn.
As a result of the shelling of the enterprise in Kharkiv, where magazines, newspapers and other printing materials were produced, a production shop with finished products caught fire. At the time of the shelling, over 50 employees were on the premises. As of 15:00, seven people were killed, including five women and two men. The identity of one person is still being established. Additionally, 16 people were injured.
In Liubotyn, Kharkiv district, the occupants’ strikes attacked the central part of the city. The territory of the park, cars, shops and transport infrastructure were damaged. Seven people are currently known to be wounded.
According to preliminary information, Russians launched S-300 or S-400 missiles from the Belgorod region to attack Kharkiv and Liubotyn.
Search and response operations are ongoing, and all relevant services are working on the scene.
