Russians struck critical and railway infrastructure in Vinnytsia region, Ukraine

On the night of August 28, the occupiers carried out a massive missile attack on the Vinnytsia region. The Koziatyn community of Khmilnytskyi district came under fire.

As a result of the strike, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. More than 60 settlements were left without electricity. Energy crews have already restored power in 45 of them.

Residential infrastructure was also affected. The blast wave destroyed roofs and windows of more than 11 houses, and four shops were damaged.

In addition, the Russians targeted the local railway hub. Passenger traffic at Koziatyn station has already been restored, while freight traffic is still experiencing delays.

There were no civilian casualties. Repair works are ongoing, with specialists still examining the affected sites.
