On July 30, around 12:00 p.m., the occupiers struck the territory of a civilian enterprise in the village of Vasyshcheve, Kharkiv District, Kharkiv Region.
According to preliminary information, a 63-year-old man was killed as the result of the shelling. Medical assistance was provided to four more people, three of whom were hospitalized in moderate condition.
The strike caused a large-scale fire covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. Warehouses storing everyday consumer goods caught fire. Due to the large amount of flammable materials, the fire spread quickly; however, emergency service specialists managed to promptly contain it.
Two employees of the State Emergency Service were also injured while extinguishing the fire. They received the necessary medical assistance on the spot.
Search and rescue operations at the scene are ongoing. All relevant services have been involved in dealing with the consequences of the attack.
