Russians killed three people, including a mother and her two-year-old daughter, during a massive shelling of Odesa, Ukraine

On the night of April 6, the occupiers launched a large-scale strike on the city, hitting residential neighborhoods, critical infrastructure facilities, and administrative buildings.

As a result of the attack, a 30-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter were killed, along with a 53-year-old resident of the city. Fifteen people were also injured, including a pregnant woman and two children – a seven-month-old boy and a two-year-old girl.

Currently, 13 of the injured have been hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, burns, and smoke inhalation. Doctors assess the condition of some adults as serious, while the children are in moderate condition.

The strikes caused large fires in the private residential sector, a dormitory, and on the grounds of a children’s facility. As of the morning, the fires have been extinguished, but emergency and rescue operations are ongoing, as people may still be trapped under the rubble.

April 6 has been declared a day of mourning in Odesa for those killed in Russia’s nighttime terrorist attack on the city.
