On the afternoon of March 27, occupation forces carried out a massive artillery shelling of the city. The fire was directed at the central part of Kherson. Additionally, under the cover of the artillery shelling, the Russians carried out strikes using UAVs.
As a result of the attack, two people were killed, and three more civilians were injured.
Additionally, an emergency medical team that was assisting one of the victims came under fire. Two medics sustained explosive injuries and concussions.
As a result of the enemy strike, the photographer of the Kherson Regional Military Administration was also injured. He sustained a blast injury.
Civilian infrastructure in the city has been damaged, including residential buildings, the railway station, surrounding structures, and vehicles. Kherson is facing issues with water and electricity supply.
Ukrainian emergency response services are working at the shelling sites, eliminating the aftermath of the attack, and providing assistance to the injured.
