Russian nighttime missile attack on Zaporizhzhia killed two people

Russia shelled Zaporizhzhya on September 2nd at 23:02. An enemy rocket hit a hotel complex, injuring a family. An 8-year-old boy and a 38-year-old woman were killed, a 12-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man were injured.

The 12-year-old girl has fractured limbs, burns to 45 percent of her body, and is suffering from traumatic shock. Her condition is currently stabilized. She will undergo surgery to remove the fragments and stabilize her skeletal injury. The child is in intensive care and remains in a severe condition.

The man is in moderate condition in the surgery department due to a fractured sternum and shrapnel wound to the right thigh.

The private complex was partially destroyed as a result of the enemy strike. Residential buildings, social facilities, and infrastructure in the city’s residential area were also damaged. These include 9 apartment buildings, cars parked in the yards, 2 infrastructure facilities, and an educational institution.

Rescuers and utility workers are at the scene working to eliminate the aftermath of the strikes.
