On February 14, 2024, around 5 p.m., the Russian army shelled a residential building in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The attack damaged apartment buildings and a playground.
A 19-year-old boy was seriously injured and hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds. Doctors fought to save his life until the night, but unfortunately, the boy passed away in intensive care due to his injuries.
A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured in the shellings, sustaining an explosive injury, multiple shrapnel injuries to her neck, face and legs. Doctors operated on her for four hours and managed to stabilize her condition. She remains hospitalized and is in severe condition.
Now the child is in the hospital. Doctors of growth stabilize the condition of the wounded, but she is in a serious condition.
Two women, aged 55 and 58, were also injured and have received necessary medical assistance.
