Russian kamikaze drones reach Lviv, Ukraine

During the night of July 12, a wave of Russian strike UAVs targeted the city’s civilian infrastructure.

The strikes caused damage across various parts of Lviv: 51 residential buildings were affected, along with 19 vehicles, 19 commercial sites, and 2 industrial facilities. Educational buildings of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” were also damaged – the facade and window structures were severely affected.

Twelve people required medical assistance. Medical personnel treated nine of them on-site, while three residents were hospitalized.

Local authorities have organized an operational headquarters to assist those affected. Families whose homes are no longer habitable are being temporarily relocated to hotels. All emergency services are working to respond to the aftermath of the attack.
