Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv, Ukraine

During the night of 24 January, Russian occupying forces targeted the Industrialnyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts of Kharkiv with attack UAVs. In total, 25 strikes were recorded across 10 locations.

As a result of the attacks, 19 people were injured, including a 12-year-old boy. Two of the wounded are currently hospitalized and receiving necessary medical care.

The massive shelling caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure. Twenty-one private houses, five apartment buildings, 20 garages, and two civilian enterprises were damaged. More than 60 vehicles were also destroyed or damaged. Blast waves shattered windows in a local college and the maternity ward of a hospital.

Emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences of the nighttime attack.
