On the night of April 9, the occupiers launched nearly two dozen Shahed-type kamikaze drones at the city. The enemy struck at least seven locations in the Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Industrialnyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.
The main targets were civilian industrial facilities. Private houses, cars, production plants, and a service station were damaged. One of the sites hit was a confectionery factory in the Osnovianskyi district. As a result of the attack, five extensive fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Situations Service.
Four people sustained injuries of varying severity. Medics quickly provided all the victims with necessary assistance.
The elimination of the consequences of the Russian night drone attack is ongoing in the city.
