On January 3, 2025, between 16:00 and 17:00, the enemy launched a massive missile strike on Chernihiv. The Russians used three ballistic missiles, targeting private residential buildings on the outskirts of the city.
As a result of the attack, a 72-year-old man was killed, and four others were injured. Three victims received first-aid, and one person was hospitalized.
Two houses were severely damaged, and around a dozen more homes were affected.
A headquarters for addressing the aftermath of the shelling has been set up at the site, and all emergency services are operational.
