Midday missile strike by Russian occupiers hits Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine

On June 24, at around 11:00 a.m., the Russians launched a strike on Dnipro and Samar using several ballistic missiles.

As a result of the attack, fires broke out, and civilian infrastructure suffered extensive destruction.

In particular, 46 apartment buildings and 41 residential houses, several dormitories, administrative buildings, eight medical facilities, more than three dozen educational institutions, ten kindergartens, petrol and service stations, outbuildings, commercial properties including shops, and over a hundred vehicles were damaged. An infrastructure facility in Samar was also affected.

Additionally, the missile strike hit train No. 52 on the Odesa–Zaporizhzhia route, which was passing through Dnipro. Several passengers were injured.

At present, 17 people have been confirmed dead, and more than 200 residents — including  children.

All emergency services in Dnipro are working to respond to the aftermath of yet another Russian terrorist attack.
