Late on the evening of March 30, Russian occupiers attacked the Poltava district with strike drones.
In Poltava, 14 facilities were damaged, including ten apartment buildings, a vocational lyceum, private houses, and commercial buildings. The most severe damage was caused to a nine-story residential building in one of the city’s districts, where the roof and upper-floor slabs were destroyed.
As a result of strikes on the regional center, a 45-year-old man was killed. Four residents were injured, including two children: a 10-year-old boy is in hospital in serious condition, while an 8-year-old girl received medical assistance at the scene. One woman is also in intensive care.
In the Poltava district, strikes hit the production facilities of two local enterprises; no casualties were reported.
Emergency services are currently carrying out repair and restoration works, while social workers are providing initial assistance to residents whose homes were damaged in the attack.
