On January 18, at around 6.20 a.m., the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missiles.
In the very first minutes after the attack, reports of injuries emerged. The number of victims has now reached 10 civilians. All of them have received the necessary medical assistance.
As a result of the shelling, more than two dozen multi-storey buildings, two schools, three kindergartens, shops, cars and a church were damaged. In the houses, windows were shattered,balconies destroyed and roofs partially damaged.
More than 70 personnel are involved in addressing the aftermath of the strike. People are being provided with all necessary assistance. City services continue to inspect the buildings to assess the extent of the damage.
