On November 17, 2024, at around 12:00 p.m., the Russians attacked Odesa with an Iskander-M ballistic missile.
The missile struck a residential area in the Primorsky district of the city, claiming the lives of ten people. Among the dead were seven police officers, a medic, and two local residents. Another 47 people sustained injuries, including four children, aged 7,10 and two who are 11 years old. The children have been hospitalized in moderate condition. Currently, 30 adults remain in the hospital, 3 of whom are in critical condition.
The strike damaged three apartment buildings, a university, and two administrative buildings.
All relevant emergency services are working on-site, providing all necessary assistance to the victims.
