On the morning of 16 July, Kherson was once again in the crosshairs of the Russian occupiers. The enemy attacked one of the markets in the city centre, damaging the business centre and commercial premises. Fortunately, there were no casualties among Kherson residents.
However, the attacks did not end there. In the afternoon, Russian troops attacked a multi-storey building in the Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result of the strikes, fires broke out in the building, trapping several people on the upper floors. Thanks to the prompt actions of the State Emergency Service, which immediately arrived at the scene, all the victims were rescued.
