On the evening of July 17, Russian forces carried out another strike on the Shevchenkivskyi District of the city, hitting the roadway with a rocket.
A 40-year-old man was killed in the explosion. At least nine people sustained injuries of varying severity. Among the injured were two children: a seven-year-old boy suffered blast injuries, while a two-year-old toddler was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.
Seven of the injured were hospitalized, and doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Overall, the attack damaged residential apartment buildings, an educational institution, as well as administrative and commercial buildings.
