On April 3, Russian forces carried out a large-scale aerial attack on settlements in the Zhytomyr region. The strikes targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
In the Korosten district, a woman born in 1956 was killed as a result of the attack. Seven other residents sustained injuries of varying severity, and medical teams are providing all necessary assistance.
In the northern part of the region, significant destruction was recorded in 18 buildings, including nine residential houses. Blast waves and debris damaged more than 100 private homes, over 55 outbuildings, and two shops.
Emergency and rescue services continue to operate at the scene. Recovery efforts are ongoing.
