At around 04:30 on December 16, Russian forces attacked a multi-storey residential building in the city center using a strike drone.
The impact caused a fire, which was promptly extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES). In total, four residents were injured. One of the injured has been hospitalized in serious condition, while the others are receiving the necessary medical care.
Emergency and municipal services are working at the site of the strike, boarding up shattered windows and clearing debris and construction rubble. Representatives of local authorities, police, and volunteers are also involved in providing assistance to the residents.
