Around midnight on September 23, the occupiers struck the regional center with high-explosive aerial bombs.
At least five hits on civilian infrastructure were recorded. About a dozen private and multi-story residential buildings were damaged, some of them completely destroyed. One man was killed as a result of the shelling.

At 2:30 p.m. the same day, the occupiers attacked the city again. This time, the invaders carried out five strikes using Shahed-type drones.
The second attack claimed the life of one person and left another 12 residents injured. Doctors provided all the necessary assistance to the wounded.
In total, more than a dozen cars were destroyed in the Khortytskyi district, and warehouse facilities were also damaged.
Utility and emergency services are working at the sites of the attacks.
