On the night of August 30, Russian forces launched a combined strike on the city using missiles and Shahed-type attack drones. The occupiers carried out at least 12 strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the attack, one local woman was killed. Thirty people were injured, including three children. One of the wounded is in critical condition. Some victims received medical assistance on site, while six people were hospitalized.
In addition, 17 apartment buildings and about 120 private houses were damaged, with several homes completely destroyed. Engineering networks were also affected, leaving 25,000 consumers without electricity and 104 without gas supply.
Rescuers, medics, police, utility services, and energy workers have been deployed to address the aftermath of the attack.
