Russia launched ballistic missiles on Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine

On August 18 at 9:00 a.m., Russia carried out two ballistic missile strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhia.

As a result of the attack, 3 people were killed and 23 were injured to varying degrees, including a 17-year-old boy. The victims are receiving medical care at healthcare facilities in Zaporizhzhia. Some patients are undergoing surgery, while others continue treatment on an outpatient basis.

The blasts and debris damaged 8 apartment buildings, a workshop of an enterprise, commercial premises, and partially destroyed a bus stop complex. A fire broke out at the strike sites, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters.

Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing, with all emergency services on site.
