On the night of May 6, Russian occupiers launched another attack on the city. The enemy used at least 13 Shahed-type strike drones, targeting residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure.
As a result of the shelling, 15 apartment buildings and over 45 private homes were damaged in three districts of Zaporizhzhia. At least one private home was completely destroyed. Four civilians were injured, two of whom were hospitalized in moderate condition.
The Russian terrorist attack also damaged energy infrastructure. More than 42,000 consumers in two districts of the city were left without electricity. Thanks to the efforts of energy workers, power supply was quickly restored.
Emergency services, social workers, and volunteers are working at the sites of the strikes. Debris is being cleared, and assistance is being provided to the affected residents.
