At nearly 8:30 a.m., Russian forces launched a missile attack on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv.
According to preliminary information, the enemy used an S-400 missile system to hit the city.
The missile hit the ground, setting three cars and the front of a two-story, non-residential building on fire, and damaging the windows of apartment buildings.
23 people sustained injuries, 14 of whom are hospitalized. Five patients are in surgery departments, five are being treated on an outpatient basis, and two are being referred for neurosurgical treatment. Two more people are being examined.
“The enemy committed another terrorist act against the civilian population of Kharkiv. All specialized services are working at the scene. In coordination with volunteer organizations, we are promptly addressing the aftermath of the missile strike,” said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
In total, 40 residential houses and an administrative building were damaged, as a result of the strike.
