Occupants covered Kramatorsk with bombs

Russian occupation forces continue to attack populated areas of the Donetsk region. This time the enemy shelled the city of Kramatorsk.

On September 25, 2024, at 3:40 p.m., the occupation forces of the Russian Federation carried out airstrikes, probably FAB-250 with a unified planning and correction module, on the central part of the city of Kramatorsk. Civil infrastructure was once again the target of the occupiers. As a result of an enemy attack on a residential building, two civilians received non-life-threatening injuries. Another 19 citizens, including minors, were injured of varying degrees of severity.

The injured were taken to a medical facility, where they are receiving qualified medical assistance.

In multi-apartment residential buildings, windows and doors were broken, balconies were destroyed. Shops and cars were also damaged.

The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the head of the OVA, Vadym Filashkin, visited the site of the shelling and talked with people. The process of helping the victims and liquidating the aftermath of the shelling is under the personal control of the head of the region, who instructed the city military administration and relevant services to provide the victims with all the necessary support.

Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings on the fact of violating the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Law enforcement officers on the spot are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

The search and rescue operations are ongoing.
