On September 24, at about 15:15, the enemy launched 8 guided aerial bombs at Kharkiv and its suburbs. The shelling was allegedly carried out from SU-34 aircraft from the territory of the Belgorod region of Russia. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.
“Two bombs hit the territory of the Tsyrkuniv community in Kharkiv district, damaging an enterprise, and we know about one dead person. Six more enemy munitions hit Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Saltivskyi and Nemyshlyanskyi districts of Kharkiv. One of the enemy’s munitions, according to preliminary data, FAB-500, hit an apartment building in Kyivskyi district. Four floors were destroyed, one person was killed and at least nine were injured. There may be people under the rubble of the building. In Saltivskyi district, there was a hit near the stadium, as of now, one woman was killed. In total, three people died as a result of hostile shelling, and at least 28 people were wounded. The information is being updated. All emergency services are at the sites of hostile attacks, search and rescue operation is ongoing,” said Oleg Syniehubov.
All victims are receiving comprehensive care, humanitarian and psychological assistance, and legal support. If necessary, the victims are provided with temporary accommodation, added the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
